Day 59 ctd - Back at Kanchanaburi we found Emily and Mica greeting us and Catherine had a fab cake session with the lovely girls. They had gone back to Kanchanaburi early and discovered a new shopping area so they took Catherine up there for a look around at all the cheap stalls and a few bargains were had. There was even time for a stop at a breathtaking bakery that had been found and a hot dog and cream cone were purchased for dinner later. With our time up we caught a taxi back to Camelia Resort and chatted by the pool with the next Real Gap group who were two weeks behind us before getting on our night bus. It was to be a long journey but luckily dinner was delicious and we had The A-Team on at full volume to entertain us as we attempted to sleep on the cramped bus.
