Today we went to IKEA, we thought while we are in Sweden we have to go to IKEA, there was a free bus from the city centre. We arrived had a look around very similar to at home but a few different things, we were going to have some Swedish meatballs but it was so busy we decided against it and after the story I heard yesterday about them finding horse meat in the meatballs earlier this year I was happy to pass.
We headed back found a Internet cafe to print our boarding pass's had some lunch, bought a magnet then went to the bottle shop all these places we had to go to we're all next to each other so it was great.
Now for a story about there bottle shops here in Sweden. There are strong laws in Sweden regarding the sale of alcohol, so all wine, strong beer, alcohol and liquors can only be purchased at state-run liquor store called Systembolaget. The only thing that can be sold in regular grocery stores is a weaker beer (3.5% or less) and when you go to the systembolaget there is a limit on how much you can buy. This law dates back to the 1900 as people where getting too drunk and also if your 18 you can drink at the pub but you can't buy alcohol until your 20 or as we heard yesterday from Johan, pay a homeless guy to buy it for you.
We bought some wine at the bottle shop for Johan's sister to say thank you for letting us stay and we were able to get a bottle from Oxford landing from South Australia which Brett thinks is where Aunty Lex and Uncle Rod work.
We joined a afternoon walking tour of old town in the rain, the buildings are so nice and well maintained, we again saw lots of sights and heard lots of history. I think my brain is getting full of so much history I hope I remember all my nursing knowledge when I return. Lol.
We just arrived home in the poring rain and will head out again soon to catch up with boys.

Peter H Hi, There was once a limit to how much you could buy at Systembolaget, but that was taken away in 1955. Cheers! Peter
