We left stockholm yesterday after spending the day in old town. We had a Swedish lunch meatballs and mashed potato . The rain had stopped but it was overcast and about17 degrees. We got picked by Johan who took us to the bus station, as we booked with Ryan air not realising the airport is 1 hour 20 mins out that's why the flight was so cheap. We caught up with Daniel and Rick the night before in the poring rain at the Viking sky bar for a few drinks,we said our last good byes and again tried to convince them all to come to Australia. It felt a bit sad saying good bye as we might never seem them again, but it was great spending the last 4 days with them. With ryan air you have the choice to pay for your own seat selection, i didnt bother so when you arrive and go to get on the plane you just line up and take what ever seat, very weird system.
We arrived in Brussels at 1130pm to a very busy airport, we got our stuff and headed out but found it hard to get out as people's visitors where blocking the entrance way. That's one thing that we hate about traveling, that every one is in a hurry and will stand in your way even though we all have to get out. Also people think they can just push in front all the time or nearly push you over, I think we are starting to be not as polite and just push and not give a crap. Rant over.
So we found the shuttle bus and found out (as we didn't research) that the airports as about 1 hour out from the city, so we finally arrived to the hotel about 1am or so.
Today we had a very lazy day, I won't even tell you what time I woke up. Hehe. We skipped breaky and just had lunch then had a walk around the city centre and easy afternoon and night. We are all refreshed now for a busy day tomorrow.
