So where I left off, we didn't end up having such an early night our last night in London Brett signed us up for beer pong while I was in the toilet the cheeky thing and we ended up winner the first round, they play with two ping pong balls here and if you get two in the same cup then you have to have three drinks and that's how we ended up winning the first game. We waited around for the second round which we ended up winning but we told the other team to go on for us as it was getting late and Brett was getting drunker as its a bit silly playing beer pong when you don't really like beer, so I gave most of my drinks to Brett It was also a bit cheeky that they made us pay £ 6 pound each round which we didn't realise in the beginning.
The next morning we caught the train to Paris we didn't get a good sleep the night before as a few people where up early (3am) to check out and where really noisy. So I slept pretty much all the way to Paris it was only 2 hours on the fast train (Eurostar).
When we arrived we caught a train to where we were staying this time we looked up where we were to go and took photos of maps and got better directions and we got here with no troubles, probably took 10 minutes from the station in the lovely rain.
We had a nice relaxing day looking around our area of paris and had a early night to bed after watching some movies on the Samsung ( thanks Kean).
Today we decided to do a another walking tour of Paris. We are close ish to the city so we walked in this morning it took about 20 mins we found some where to have breaky before the walking tour. We are finding everything very expensive here, 2 coffees cost €11 euro so $15 and breaky € 11 we probably won't do that again but we thought we would for the first morning in Paris.
The walking tour was 2.5 hours and went to all the highlights in Paris Notre Dam, the louve, a few other historical places and monuments, through the royal gardens and ended up at the bottom of the Champse Alyse looking at the Eiffel Tower and Arc De Triomph. Our tour guide was good but not great so we didn't not tip him as much as our other tour guide in London. We then walked up the Champse Alyse (which is a busy street) there were lots of shops and lots of fire fighters in uniforms looking like they were going to march or there was going to be a service. We walked to the top til we reached the Arc De Triomph. We then walked down to the Eiffel tower where we sat and had a ice cream and people watched and looked at the tower.Brett wanted to take his pants off again and sun bake because others were doing it but again I said not appropriate. Lol.We then walked under the Eiffel Tower and over onto the grass which looked at the Eiffel Tower where we got nice and burnt ( whoops sunscreen tomorrow) We went to the local supermarket and brassier ( bakery) and got a baguette, ham, cheese, dip and drinks to have on the grass at the Eiffel Tower ( how romantic lol). We stayed until 9 pm it was getting to cold and we didn't have any warm clothes with us as the day was quite warm, so we headed home. The sun does not go down till about 1010pm here it's crazy.
The hotel we are staying in is not the nicest buts its ok but one down fall is we are on the 5th floor no elevator so we have to double check we have every thing before we go as I don't want to walk the stairs again lol.
