Well..... IT'S BEEN A LONG SUMMER. My countdown website now tells me it's 18hours until my first flight... and online check-in is down so that isn't very helpful. Anyway, looking back on my summer of working it has been pretty good. My funds are looking optomistic, although I'm no longer sure it's worth having a savings account with such poor interest rates. I've enjoyed a variety of jobs since 23rd June, and I think it's fair to say that in summary; Research = good. Scanning and data entry = BAD. I learnt a lot this summer and I don't dread the day I have to work EVERY day so much anymore, although I suppose that only applies to the fun jobs I've had these past months. Saying goodbye seems to have come and gone in dribs and drabs, with the leaving party last weekend being a wonderful weekend and a good catch up. Since then I've seen various others and sadly left the amazing facilities office which I enjoyed so much. I've promised postcards to many people... maybe too many in a realistic world, but I shall endevour. My short blog seems to have dragged on rather a lot!

Thank you all for the support you have given me over the past weeks, months and years and I hope you enjoy reading my blog updates and seeing all the pretty pictures (I'll try to keep the quantity down). Wishing all of you the best for the 10months ahead and already looking forward to catching up upon my return :)
