Not a great deal to write about today, which is a good thing because it means our great train adventure went to plan! Train Lauterbrunnen - Interlaken, swap trains, Interlaken - Milan (made it to Italy!), swap trains, Milan - Rome. Because of our early start we arrived in Rome by mid afternoon, giving us heaps of time to find the hotel and settle in. We were a bit worried what the hotel would be like as we're only paying €34 (AUD45) a night, but after a nervous moment when we couldn't get through the locked front door, the place has turned out to be a little gem. Within walking distance to all the main attractions and (much to Case's delight), seems to be on one of the main shopping streets.

Bit of a relax this arvo before heading out to sample the Italian cuisine and now to crash early after a long day of travel.
