Having loved Queenstown so much the first time, we came back solely for a night out to celebrate my birthday. In true birthday party fashion, we first embarked on a getting ready party complete with drinking games, singing, makeup session and photo taking, all in the comfort of the back of Johnny! We emerged looking amazingly smart, both in dresses! It was freezing. In the pub, it doesn't take us long to make friends, and one guy even arranged for a birthday cak...

So, last nights effort to keep warm was a partial success. Leggings definitely a keeper, in fact I invested in a new pair. The addition of the duvet was also a winner. Remaining issues: frozen faces, red dog noses and ice on the outside of our sleeping bags (well nearly). Not sure what the solution is ??? Maybe we need more wine ??
