Hey everyone!!

So I just posted some pictures from Halloween here in Florence! Me and my friends were Budweiser cans! We decided that we wanted to be something that was completely American without dressing like the statue or liberty or the American flag, so what better than BUDWEISER!! haha. We are actually very proud of ourselves because we made our ENTIRE costumes by hand. We did all but weave the fabric! haha. The logo was hand painted by each of us using a Budweiser box as our guide!

The night of Halloween we finished up our "Couture garments" (I call them couture because the definition for couture is a garment that is hand sewn, and yes we sewed them all by hand!) and attended a party at our neighbors place! I was asked to make what has now become my Famous Guacamole and we ate together and began drinking. There were probably about 15 Kent State girls all together enjoying the start of the night. Later in the night we headed out to J.J.'s Cathedral, a little dive bar near the Duomo, for a few Budweiser's (of course!) and then headed to a night club called YAB where we spent the rest of our night. During the night we ran into about half a dozen "wicked witch's of the west" and the entire cast of the Wizard of Oz, all of which were Kent State girls! We had a lot of fun, although nothing quite compares to Halloween in Kent! The majority of people dressed up were American students because it is not as popular over here in Europe.
