I leave for London in 6 hours!! :) Here is a summery of where I'll be and what I'll be doing so that all of you can be envious!

Wednesday

-Arrive in London

-Afternoon Tea at the Kensington Palace Orangery

-Tour of Kensington Palace (exhibits include Clothing of Princess Diana, Royal Ceremonial Dress Exhibit..)

Thursday

-Private Bus Tour with Group

-Victoria and Albert Museum

-Wallace Collection

-Tickets to WICKED at the Apollo Victoria Theater :)

Friday

-Tour of Harrod's (UK's best known department store)

-The House of Viktor and Rolph Exhibit (British designers)

-Zandra Rhodes Workshop (very famous designer)

-Night out at the Ice Bar (we planned this on our own, no school involvement! haha) The entire bar is made of ice. You have to wear a cape and globes to stay warm but its apparently supposed to be really cool!

Saturday

-Visit to local markets

-Weave Toshi Workshop

-Prudence, Couture Millinery Designer Workshop (most recently designed the hats and headwear worn in the Sex and the City movie.

Sunday - Trip to Windsor

-Tea and Tour of Windsor Castle

-Plane ride back to Florence!

Everything listed has been provided and arranged by Kent State (except the Ice Bar experience). We, the students, didn't do hardly any planning for the trip, which was nice. I am hoping to do an actual tour of Buckingham Palace once I'm there and possibly ride the large Ferris wheel! We'll see how it goes! I'm sure I'll have plenty of pictures to add once I get back!
