Before leaving Almeria visited Alcazaba. Very cool apart from the school group of kids making a racket.

Checked out of hotel and drove to Granada via Guadix where saw lots of cave houses dug into to cliffs. Reminded me of the Flintstones!

Arrived in Granada and checked into Hotel Dauro. Fantastic staff there. Came and took our car off to park and receptionist booked our tickets to Alhambra and advised good time to go. Decided to go tomorrow afternoon with entrance to palace at 6pm.

Wandered into town, had a cervesa at bar near cathedral but no free tapas there so wandered around looking for one recommended in Lonely Planet. Found it but was too early so went across road to another one which turned out to be great. Had several cervesas there and FREE tapas! Went back to hotel very full and happy without spending much money!
