We have arrived safe and sound in Nice. Oh what a piece of paradise it is. Our senses have been overwhelmed, the warmth of the sun, the beautiful people, the romantic language the colours and aromas of the markets. Fruits and vegetables that smell and taste like the foods of Gods. Lavender, garlic, fresh stone fruits, flowers, cheeses, olives. The vibrant and earthy ochre colours of the buildings with their rustic architecture and shutters, tiny balconies wrapped in wrought iron and adorned with brightly coloured window boxes are just like those you see in coffee table picture books.
