This morning was spent exploring Brianconnet and Gars - two very beautiful French villages. Mind you they are all pretty special. We have been blown away by them. Just when you think you have seen THE prettiest one, around the next bend, perched on the side of a hill is......yep.....you guessed ....another.
Being quite hot today we stripped off for a swim in the river in Gars. Let's just say that refreshing fails to describe it. In fact I don't even think the word COLD does it justice. Suffice it to say we needed to lie on rocks to thaw out.
After a morning of exploring we headed home for a siesta before embarking on our Vol Bivouac adventure.
