At a free camp 20km from Katherine. Left Dundee after 4 fantastic days. Dundee is 100km west of Darwin on the coast. All volcanic soil. The blocks are 1, 5 and 10 acres. All scrub so you see very few houses from the red earth roads. Probably like Goolwa 30 years ago but red earth not sand. We had Lots of rest. Lots of fishing. Met all the NT friends of Dave & Brenna. Lots of laughs. Cannot believe the beer consumption up here. Leaves me speechless. Guys fishing at 7.30am with a beer in hand. Not Dave. Had barramundi for dinner Sunday evening and finished it off for breakfast this morning. Heading west tomorrow after a stop to shop at Katherine.
