OK ... Blimey - alot of catching up to do - for anyone considering doing an online blog in future can I suggest there is no point unless you carry a laptop (which im suprised to find quite a few people do these days when travelling) anyway my point is is spend alot of t6ime worrying about not having done it and where to find an internet cafe and thenb I get distracted and just dont get round to it so a handwritten diary woud be much more effective!!! A little hungover after treating myself to a bottle of fizz and a huge amazing Boullibase fish dinner we set off this morning to the dunes (pic above) to go sandboarding .... slightly nervous about it - I was thinking about the hurtling down headfirst on what can only be described as a bit of plywood that i totally failed to think about how the hell you get back up the dunes .... possibily physically the hardest thing i have ever had to do - i HATE walking on san...

Just arrived in Swakomund (all name spelling guessed in Namibia as I just cant get the language/accent) after two days in Etosha national park - amazing campsite with great facilities which had a floodlit waterhole you could sit and watch all night - the waterhole has daily visits from families of elephants, rhinos, springbok, giraffes (watching them drink is amazing) not to mention all the normal jackals, herds of zebras etc ...... feel terribly spoilt but must ...

Not much time so will update later but here's a few notes about the last few days :) Bush camped in the Okavango Delta, travel out there by dugout canoe (Mokoro) elephant trumpeting in camp and hippos at night, swimming in pools - very hot 2 days and covered in mozzie bites. Quick hello as we head into the Okavango Delta for a few days tomorrow and will be totally out of action - got no network here at all so will catch up in Namibia with you.
