Today is our last day at sea before we dock in Southhampton very early tomorrow morning. We have enjoyed our baltic experience , the cruising comfortable, - spacious stateroom ( cabin) all mod cons great balcony with comfortable chairs and a table. Today we are at sea having left Copenhagen at 2.00 am this morning. We woke late today 10.00 am , David went to the gym and I did a bit of swamp swimming ( I have to try all the facilities - indoor heated pool and spa - swamp swimming Davids term.) we dined at The moonlight sonata restaurant on level five where we sat with Ross and Sue are new friends from the UK. After a good night sleep, breakfast and a visit to the supermarket to buy supplies for our cruise . We boarded the Celebrity Eclipse, with very little queuing. Greeted by a hostess with a glass of champagne. Our cabin was not ready and we went of exploring and had some lunch on the back deck. The ship is only one year old , all bright shiny and modern. Booked some Internet time and off to our cabin for a rest. Our dinner was booked for the early setting 6.15...

After breakfast at our riverbank hotel in Turo we once again boarded the train with a few stops and changes to Southampton via Bath. Long journey 5 and 1/2 hours latter we arrived at Southampton. Checked in to our hotel the Grand Harbour. Went and checked out the dockside and visited the Marine Museum with a Titanic display. Dinner in the hotel restaurant early night - ready for our cruise tomorrow.

Up early and a stroll around town, then breakfast in the hotel restaurant Pesadou. David had the traditional bacon and egg and I had the smoked haddock and poached egg. Local produce. Checked out of the hotel and proceeded to Ricks Steins gift shop to purchase souvenirs. We left Padstow on a beautiful sunny day with fond memories of our night in this seaside village .
