Today is our last full day in France. We breakfast on crunchy bread rolls filled with cheese and tomato. Having got the hang of the public transport we take the bus along the promenade de Anglaise to the old city and wander through the narrow cobblestoned lane ways. Today we take the train to Saint Raphael a few stops past Cannes. Another seaside resort where we have an enjoyable lunch. Fridge magnet purchased alas no suitable tea-towels. Today we take a one and a half hour train journey to San Remo in Italy. A seaside town on the Italian Riviera. We have lunch overlooking the harbour. Totally different to the French we have been experiencing in the past few days.
