Today we take a one and a half hour train journey to San Remo in Italy. A seaside town on the Italian Riviera. We have lunch overlooking the harbour. Totally different to the French we have been experiencing in the past few days. With only limited time in this seaside village we venture back to the rail station gelati cones in hand . after a change of clothing we are collected by a driver for our tour. Visiting the medieval town of Eze perched atop a seaside cliff . Very picturesque . Continuing to Monte Carlo we drive along the grandprix circuit - boys very interested. Dinner in on overpriced , arrogantly staffed restaurant. A cocktail and a 10 euro gamble in the casino ( we leave with a 20 cent win) Home by 11.00 pm p.s. Not a fridge magnet or teatowel purchased in Eze or San Remo
