After departing Brisbane at 10.30 am on a strategic flight we arrive 8 hours latter via a refuel in Darwin. Our accommodation at the Padma resort , Legian is excellent , very pleased ( thanks Dom , magic choice)
We check in , great room on the first level with a garden view.
Off to the Garden Club Lounge for free ( included in our room rate ) cocktail hour(s) 5 - 7 pm . An excellent array of nibbles and cocktail foods . Two or three beers and maybe a couple of cocktails latter we departed the lounge to explore the resort. Dinner at the Japanese restaurant , beautiful fresh food , some sake and to bed after a big day .
