Aoke 6 am Friday morning after only about 4 hours sleep, went to the gym and then had breakfast at the hotel. The hotel Amora is in a great spot in the middle of everything. Off for a walk into Darling harbour which houses the aqaurium, Madame Tausauds, and a Military Museum. Its a little, busy harbour area with flags and a large pedestrian bridge. The weather was hot, humid but remained dry. Walked down to 4 Quays to look at Sydney harbour bridge and the opera house which was spectacular. Fiona had booked us into the Quay restaurant at 1.30, which overlooked both ( one of her contacts from when she was on Australian masterchef.)Voted as one of the top 60 in the world it totally lived up to its reputation with a price tag to match !- food was amazing - especially the Wagmyu beef- out of this world. The heavens then opened as we were about to leave and you could not get a taxi for love or Money , so we had a brollie and walked back. Watched Tv, tired, kept checking to see where the kids were. They finally got home safe after a very long travel and we fell off to sleep.
