Left Naomi my credit card in case of emergencies and some cash for Taxis etc. Left the kids - a little emotional - Myles went quiet ,Naomi had a few tears- until we were out of sight I reckon! Myles hit the Gym ,Naomi hit the shops with the credit card returning heavy laden with bags- both had a slap up lunch and then got the bell boys to pick up the bags and put them into a stretch Limo to take them to the Airport to board their business class flights!! As our Janet would say " I wanna live in Naomi's world!!

Our flight was on time , until we got close to Syndey where the 37 temps had triggered a huge storm causing delays - we were told to hold for 90 mins , but didnt have enough fuel so had to fly to Brisbane to refuel, arriving in Sydney 3 hours late, but at least the thunderstorms had abated. Used our new E passports in the airport- Brilliant- you just scan them, grab a receipt, enetr a machine that takes a picture and compares your passport and you are through customs- brilliant. Bages where waiting, straight into a cab $100 ( 50 quid) for about 12 miles -ouch!, checked in , off to bar across the street for a couple of beers and in bed for 1am.
