What a picturesque, adorable island Magnetic Island is. Full of private beaches and fascinating flora and fauna....During the day that is!!!! Another hard day, got up and was taken by bus to the coast, got on a 40 foot catamaran, went down a lovely river, went out onto the ocean an then we were dropped off on a private island. Had lunch on the beach, went out on a glass bottomed boat round the great barrier reef, spent a couple of hours snorkeling. Hong Kong is mad, come here if you want big buildings and designer gear, Kowllon is just across the water and you come here if you want cheap hotels and cheap coppies of designer stuff, basically both are fun and there is plenty to see providing you like shopping but when it comes down to it if you want to see China youre in the wrong place.
