Hello everybody!
I updated some pics from our visit to Monschau & Koln in Germany. We have been visiting here at Tim and Julie's for one week. They are so welcoming and gracious, I think they will have a hard time getting rid of me! Unfortuantely, I have been sick for the past few days and it's been difficult, but I am almost better now. We have had a break from travelling. I've been trying to take it easy and Ben's been getting ancy wanting to get out there and see new places!
Tim and Julie drove us to Monschau last Monday. It is a cute little town on a stream. On the way, you could see "dragon's teeth" in the countryside. They are basically walls of concrete blocks that were put up along the border of Germany during WWII to keep tanks out of the country. There are just so many that they couldn't pull them all up out of ground. We passed several areas with them.
A few days ago, we visited Koln, a city on the Rhine River. We roamed around a bit and went to a chocolate museum / small factory that focused in a few chocolates, including Lindt...if you've never had a Lindt truffle, check it out! Chocolate is great.
We thought it would be colder here, but the weather has been great. We hope everyone is doing well back home! By the way, try to view the pictures in the "slideshow" mode...it makes them look a lot cooler! :) Take care!
