January 15th, we left early for Silver City, New Mexico. The scenery on the drive was absolutely gorgeous, even though I slept most of the way. We checked into our hotel in Silver City. It was very nice as I had my own room. Now, I can stay up all night on my phone and not get harassed by Heather. Tomorrow morning, is another early start but is well worth it. On our way to Santa Fe, New Mexico we are planning on stopping at the Gila Cliff Dwellings. I have high expectations for shopping in Santa Fe as I heard it is amazing.
January 17th, we stopped at the Gila Cliff Dwellings. It was very remarkable. The ruins dated back over 12,000 years and are still intact. I have to say one of my highlights was meeting one of our tour guides Marci, who must have been my best friend in my past life.
In Santa Fe, I didn't get my own hotel room. Therefore, I slept on the pull out bed. Ed's snoring kept me up till 3 am. I was debating sleeping in the bathroom, but decided to cowgirl up.

Nanny Do you have some ear plugs? You may need to buy some good quality industrial strength ones. Or put an app on your phone to listen to sea waves. Or you could buy him some nose strips. Sometimes a hit with a baseball bat works too. When we were in Arizona one of my favourite areas was Sedona. Then we went south to Camp Verde for a few days. One of my most memorable days was at the cliff houses called Montezuma's Castle. There was so much history there and they were fantastic farmers as well as house builders. The mystery of what happened to them all is fascinating. What do you think happened to the community? I was introduced to sycamore trees there too.
