On February the 9th we left from San Pedro at 8:00 in the morning. It was very hard to leave our little home away from home. Just getting to the airport was an adventure.  We had to take a twenty-minute boat ride to town.  When we docked, we had to carry all of our suitcases up the beach to the airport.  We got to Belize city to catch our flight to Houston then to Phoenix.   We were just getting ready to depart, when the captain announced there was a malfun...

January 27th We embarked on our big journey! We stayed in Phoenix, so we could catch our flight tomorrow to Belize City. We went to an AQHA horse show while waiting to check into our hotel. They were having a reining competition. It was very interesting but didn't compare to barrel racing.We got to our hotel later that day. We spent the rest of the day getting organized for Belize! I’m counting down the hours till I can put my shorts on.
