Earlier start today as going to Natural History Museum.
First experience of new hotel for breakfast. Lots of choice, but not as good as last hotel. Staff not helpful and toaster was not working properly. Eventually sorted and I had my cooked breakfast, toast and peanut butter and fruit.
We walked to Museum as it was a sunny day. We went past Brompton Cemetery, it is massive. Saw squirrels and people running and lots of graves through the railings.
At museum everyone else in London has come along to, a long queue but we chatted so it did not seem a long wait.
Dad got me a book with interesting stuff about the museum with quizzes etc.
After an hour of dinosaurs, rocks, stones and stuff I was getting fed up. Very stuffy, hot and busy. Dad thought best thing was to go, great!
We sat and looked for nice place to eat. The menu on-line looked good to me so we set off for Kings Road. Went past some Queen roads/Mews with massive houses and a Ferrari outside one of them.
There was a miserable lady outside restaurant with daughter in a wheelchair. Girl got out of wheelchair and hopped into place. She had a tiny bandage on her ankle. Mum refused to fold up wheelchair and just left it blocking the door! When we left they were still at their table by the door. The mum was complaining about the food and pointing at it with her knife! Dad said it was predictable, she had that look on her face when they went in - contempt for everyone around her!
Our experience in place was great, friendly staff showing us to table and explaining options. Waitress very attentive and fun. Food and drinks were great and we did not have to ask for doggie bags, she brought them fully packed and labelled.
Walked back to hotel, where we spend evening just relaxing. That means iPad and did some reading.
