Cal's Eurotrip
We spent a total of 5 days in Paris. France is a great country and it's full of really nice helpful people. Before arriving into Paris we were expecting a bunch of snobby nosed French people not willing to help anyone who doesnt speak French. But suprisingly they were really healpful. Probably the nicest buch of people we have met so far. Much better than the snobby nose Italians back in Rome.
Anyways we did the usual touristy things. We checked out Catacombs which was an underground cemetry full of human skulls and bones. It was actually kind of creepy and disturbing that they dug up old grave sites and built walls out of human bones and skulls.
We also went to the Lourve and saw the Mona Lisa. The painting is actually very small and i dont see what the big fuss is about, nevertheless i can now tell everyone i saw it. After seeing so many religious art work in London, Cambridge, Madrid and Rome i'm now no longer amazed by the paintings i see in art galleries, its all the same thing to be honest.
And of course we saw the Eiffel Tower. A cool building and it was much bigger than expected. We went up the very top, saw the view and so on.
