Cal's Eurotrip
Prague was our first real taste of Eastern Europe and you can certainly tell the difference as soon as you land on the country. The people here never smile and they all look like they are still under communist rule, plus the weather didnt help either as it was always cloudy and slightly cold.
Regardless Prague was a cool place. Everything you need (being Alcohol, food, Water) is dirt cheap. It was probably the first and maybe the only time where i have paid for a pint with a single coin. Not only that the beer was great and that single coin was exactly one dollar Australian. Us boys couldnt of been happier.
It was the first time during our trip that all the boys were together being Pete, Les, Ryan, Dave, Adam, Mark and myself. The only downside of having so many people together was that everyone wants to do something different from everyone else, so a lot of the time we werent together anyway.
The main part of Prague is actually very nice, filled with lovely old buildings and a huge castle which i didnt really get to see unfortunately but on my way to Berlin i hope to make another trip there and check out the touristy things there.
