Up at 7.30am.

Ate lots of fresh fruit sitting on the balcony, just looking at the view.

Then breakfast of bacon and eggs ( twice ) in this dining room overlooking that magnificent view.

On the bus at 9.30am for a drive along the ridge of Hvar Island to see all the views.

It was written up as a drive through the lavender fields but they have had disastrous fires here the last twenty years that have all but destroyed the lavender plants.
There are some lovely fields though.
And the views over the water are magnificent.

This is a short version of the day as I would like to spend the evening watching the changing colours from my balcony.

Will write up tomorrow on the bus.

After the drive over the spine of the island, on some very narrow roads, we stopped at
Vrbosja village
Light brunch and wine tasting at the 'Tomic' winery.
Then a wander through Jelsa village
And back by 2.30pm.
Magnificent day.
25 degrees and sunny.

I wandered down that wonderful path to Hvar.
Checked out a few jewellery stalls and shops.
Just wandered.
Very relaxing.
( I think the wine probably had something to do with that.)
