1. I find out Sardinia is a big island with small roads. Traveling is slow.
2. I notice the second language after Italian is surprisingly Catalan.
3. I remember I'm on on Belgian roads anymore and pedestrians are actually shocked when I show them courtesy.
4. I see more Scandinavian tourists than ever before anywhere, except Scandinavia.
5. I eat my first pizza at a ripoff price of €8 (seriously - you can get it much cheaper here!) and meet some nice people in my B&B.
