There are lots of markets on all around Sydney on weekends so we thought we would spend the day trying to find a couple. We headed off through the centre of town and found the Paddy Markets, it's right next to China Town so most of the people on the markets are Chinese. They had some interesting things there to buy but definately not as good as the markets in Bangkok! We then ended up back at Darling Harbour where we thought was a market but there wasn't! Its quite a long walk back so we headed back through the Botanical Gardens, we sat there for a while and met a couple of people who were from Southampton, its such a small world! This evening we found another little cheap restaurant close to our hostel where we got Roast chicken and chips for $6, much better bargain than the place we ate at yesterday.
