We finally left rainy Auckland once we finally got our shuttle bus that didn't show up at the time we booked it. Flight was on time and we arrived in Sydney at around 3pm, It looks amazing and it feel really hot and the sun is out! Had a bit of trouble getting through the nothing to declare bit, as Lindsay forgot she had a satsuma in her bag and a nasty man pulled her aside and told her she could be bringing disease and infections into the country and that there is a $220 fine!!! luckily he let her off with a warning, she will never bring a satsuma in again! Hostel seems ok, we have a tv and fridge in the room. We are staying in Kings Cross which is known as a bit of a dodgy area but it seems ok. We will keep you posted. Can't wait to get out there tomorrow and explore!
