Our final journey.
It's hard to think that our pilgrimage to Greece/Turkey and Israel is coming to a close, but like all things there is an ending; but we realize that when something ends there is always a new beginning! And at the end of our journey we will start again on a brand new adventure with God our Father leading us forward and upward.
Our flight home had a 1.5 hour transit through Bangkok. We were put off the plane and had to go through the airport and customs, three times before getting back on the same plane. I heard that some passengers did some perfume shopping, duty free in the airport on the way through, but we're not allowed to bring them back on board, a waste of money!
In all the flight was very good, but not too much sleep.
We touched down in Australia at about 9am and it took ages to be processed through customs. We both agreed that of all the airports we traveled through Sydney was the worst! Delays in baggage arriving and very long lines at customs made this day one of our worst.
While we understand that there is a need to protect our borders, we need someone with chook raffle experience to run the customs and baggage handling.
Jeans sister Sherrie picked us up from the airport and delivered us to Central Railway station where we have boarded the train heading for Taree. And here I sit tapping away on the iPad, recording our day. I'll let you know tomorrow how it all ends.
