Welcome to Dubai. After a 17 hour nightmare for me, Peter & not much better for Jean, here we are.

No sleep, lining up and waiting up to 15 minutes for the loo, inconsiderate passengers, and did I mention the snoring and other noise, the aches and pains? But, Dubai offers us a chance, 4 hours actually, to stretch our legs, hot coffee and best of all no queues for the loo.

It's an amazing place, it looks and feels like the playground of the rich and famous, it's enormous! It took us half an hour to walk to our gate, it is the biggest Mall I have ever seen with so much for sale!

After disembarking we had to Line up like cattle to get through the security point, which seemed to take forever but the lure of hot tea and real coffee made the wait worthwhile.

Our plane is almost due for departure for Athens, I think it's about a 5 hour trip, all in daylight, so we should be OK.
