After leaving Athens and the Acropolis and Mars Hill behind we headed north in our coach for the village of Kalambaka, about 4 hours drive.

We stopped for lunch at a cafeteria along the way before reaching our destination at about 3:45 pm.

The road we took ran over mountains and through fertile valleys where farming of every kind happens. Little villages dotted the landscape as we drove, and it was a very pleasant drive.

Tonight we catch up with a group of New Zealand Officers on their tour, we will share in fellowship over a meal and get to know them a little better, we are both looking forward to this time of fellowship.
