On Sunday we got our hire car and left Sydney bright and early, typical clear blue skies today! We drove to the Blue Mountains, where there are no mountains, but a huge canyon. On Friday we went on the bridge climb. This meant been kitted out in very fetching grey jump suits for 3 hours. We were clipped to the bridge the whole time with a special harness so no chance of falling off or Craig pushing Jill off. We slowly scaled up one side of the arch to the summit for great views of the city and of course the opera house. Yesterday we spent the day walking round Darling harbour, and the central area. The harbour is full of lots of nice restaurants, but we had to do the cheap option. We walked round the shops in the lovely Queen Victoria Market, which is in an old renovated victorian building. The city is huge, and most of it seems new, with shniy skyscrapers.
