We now have left Thailand. Forgot to mention how many lady boys we saw in Phuket and the number of old men with young thai girls on there arms, very sleazy. However apart from that it was fantastic and def recommend it to everyone. In hong Kong now, we have enjoyed coming back here after our honeymoon 2 years ago. Its been nice not to have to dash round the sights, instead we have just enjoyed walking round the streets and soaking up the atmosphere. Yesterday was lovely clear skies so we decided to go up the peak for great views of the skyline. We had lunch overlooking the city, where we went on our honeymoon, our anniversary treat(early). We also went up the highest skyscraper in hong kong but only to the 55th floor, which was still high enough. On Tuesday we saw a totally different side of hong kong island when we went to the other side to Repulse beach and stanley. Here its very green with beaches and millionaire houses overlooking the bays. It was very nice and alot quieter and slower pace than the rest of the city. We have enjoyed seeing all the typical sights, going on the star ferry for 10p, and going through the smelly street markets with veg and fish for sale. Also like all the streets covered in the wacky chinese signs, plus the cool light show at night, when all the buildings light up and have lasers shooting off the top. Off to Tokyo tomorrow, currently no hotel booked, frantically trying to sort one now argh!
