Another week has passed, not a lot to report im afraid other than we have been relaxing on the beach all week, back to red hot sunshine and blue skies. However we have been good and been going to the gym in the hotel, and eating lots of fruit. We would like to wish Craigs mum a Happy 60th birthday. Thursday evening we took 4 of the local kids off the beach, our brazilain friends, to the shopping mall, that has a big amusement arcade. It was meant to be a treat for them, although it was a good excuse for us to act big kids too. We spent a couple of hours going on all the different games, and then we took them for some food. We thought they would want a McDs, but oh no they took us to a posher restaurant and to our amazement ordered rice and chicken strogenoff! Put Jill to shame as she sat there with her quarter pounder!We had a really good night, and they seemed to enjoy it too. At 10.30pm we decided it was time for them to go home, we were shattered after trying to keep up with 4 12 year old boys, that dont speak english! Tomorrow we plan to watch some of the premier games on tv then of course hit the beach. We are pleased to find out the football season in Brazil starts tomorrow, so we will be able to get to go to a game at the maracana afterall next week.
