We headed for breakfast at Starbucks. We sat and chatted about crazy things like politics, the NHS and religion for ages which was really random but I enjoyed having an in depth conversation and listening to other people's points of view on it all. After, we walked back to the room to get changed into our swim stuff and headed to the beach front, only 10 yards away! We all wanted to have a go wakeboarding. We asked the first company we came to how much it was and I haggled the price down a bit so that we could all pay the equivalent of £12 for 15 minutes each. The guy was so laid back but almost too laid back to the point that we had no idea whether he was bringing the boat and board round for us at all! He didn't seem that bothered about us and didn't let us know what was going on. We stood and waiting around for 15 minutes and nothing happened so Tommy and I walked on to the next company who were a lot more interested and offered to match the price. We had to wait for the speed boat to come around to us and just as we were sat there waiting, the first guy came over to us waving his arms in the air as though he was really angry. As he got closer it was obvious he was shouting. He was annoyed that we had moved on to another company. We explained to him that we were sat around waiting and he did not let us know what was going on so we left. Needless to say, we were not his favourite people. Once the boat finally arrived, we all clambered in and off we set. The wakeboarding channel was not far from the beach front. We all had 20 minutes each. I managed to stand on my second go which I was chuffed about as I've only done it once before. Both Tommy and Sarah managed to stand up also. It was really tiring on my arms and legs, so they felt like jelly once I finished, 20 minutes was plenty long enough! The sun was beaming down and we forgot to take water on the boat between us so we were desperate for a drink once we got off the boat. For the rest of the day we chilled on the beach and met up with the others that we met in George Town as they were arriving onto the island today. Sarah and I went to the Yellow cafe again for lunch and then took some amazing photos on the beach of the sunset. We all had showers and got ready to head out for dinner as a group. We went to the Putumayo restaurant, it was possibly the best Malaysian food we've had. After, we headed to the beach front to find a bar. We found a tiny little beach shack that sold basic drinks so we had a few there before moving onto one of the main bars a bit further down. There was music, shisha's and lots of alcohol flowing. At about midnight, about 10 of us decided to go into the sea. The sea was so warm and the stars were so bright, it was such an amazing feeling! We got out and carried on drinking and went for a KFC before going back in one more time at about 4 am. A local came over and told us all that jelly fish come out this early in the morning so we decided to get out and head to bed. This had been one of the most amazing nights for me so far!
