I was up for most of the night feeling really poorly. We were suppose to be going on the 7 Wonders of KL tour in the morning at 10.30 but I felt so unwell I really couldn't face it. I said for the girls to go on without me but I couldn't get a refund. I didn't really care I felt so ill. As it was, Masa had to go into the centre to sort her visa out so she wasn't back until after the tour bus left the hostel. So we just decided to postpone the tour until the next day which also meant we didn't lose our money. The girls went into town around 11 am and I stayed in bed and tried to sleep it off. After my nap I just sorted some of my stuff out and watched a film on my iPad. I'm not usually the sort of person that can stay in all day but I really felt like I needed a day of rest to try and overcome the food poisoning rather than trying to push myself too much and prolong it. I managed to FaceTime mum and dad too, they always manage to make me laugh and cheer me up. I just chilled until the girls got back and then we headed down to the hostel restaurant to have some food as we hadn't eaten since breakfast. I ordered the salmon fettucinni, now the only reason I'm writing about it is because it was incredible! The best meal I've had since Oz. We saw Tom, my friend Hannah's fiancé so we asked him to join us. We chatted for ages then Hannah came and joined us. They are both Doctors and worked at the Heath Hospital in Cardiff. We talked about all sorts including medicine and midwifery which I really miss strangely enough. I enjoyed having a good old midwifery discussion. It was starting to get dark so we all decided as we were still pretty tired, to watch another film at the hostel cinema. We watched 'This means war' which was really funny, then headed back to the room to get some much needed sleep before the tour tomorrow.
