After a much better nights sleep with a lovely fan pointing directing onto us, we had a spot of breakfast along the beach front and contemplated about how we were going to see the Big Lagoon! I loved the breakfast here and one of the main things I had been drinking is calamansi lemon ice tea, it's just incredible! Probably my favourite drink ever, closely followed by a mango lassi! We asked around about hiring a private boat just to take us only to the Big Lagoon and take us back an hour later. The quotes we were getting were ridiculous at around £100 so we scrapped that idea! In the end, we decided the cheapest way would be to repeat Tour A just to see the Big Lagoon. I double checked with the tourist office that we would definitely get to see it if we went on the tour and off we went...again!
We eventually arrived at the Big Lagoon half way through the tour, and it was totally worth coming again! We hired a kayak and spent an hour exploring the massive Lagoon! Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side but it still looked incredible regardless!
We spent our final night in El Nido at a restaurant along the beach front. I ordered a beef burger and matt ordered pork belly sisilog. Unfortunately, it was the worst meal both of us had had during our entire stay in the Philippines. It really was inedible, so much so we hardly touched it and refused to pay for it! It was a shame but we managed to find a nice ice cream parlour which helped make things better! We booked our minivan for our trip back to Puerto Princesa the next morning and headed back to the hostel for a much needed sleep!
