Continuing from yesterday. We went out for a meal at a restaurant serving traditional food and for a starter Joan had a king prawn with smoked salmon, see photo. We followed that with Venison stew, very nice. Today we went on a tour of the city, then we went on a boat ride round the harbour. In the afternoon we had hoped to take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain but unfortunately it was covered by low cloud. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. Instead we caught a hop on hop off bus and did a tour of the peninsular. In the evening we again went out for a meal and this time shared a very large and very tasty sea food platter. Afterwards we went on the Cape Town version of the London Eye Much smaller but still some good views over the harbour.
