Aged Travellers
Another day largely spent on the coach but not as tiring as yesterday. We made a later start which meant longer in bed. We drove initially to Cape Aghulas the most southerly point of Africa and where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans officially meet. I climbed up several flights of quite steep ladders to the top of the lighthouse. Joan followed her daughter's advice to "take it easy" and sensibly stayed at ground level. We the drove on to Hermanus a lovely seaside town which has the reputation of being the best land based whale watching place in the world, but only at the right time of year which wasn't February!!! However, we did have a very nice fish platter for lunch. Then drove to Cape Town and the luxurious Table Bay Hotel.
