Not much to report with Peg being ill. We have visited the doctor's twice - very easy and quick - seen at the appointment time and appointment given within half an hour of telephone call. Went Xray unit who saw Peggy within half an hour.

The best bit was I then popped down to Medicare offices - the state health system here, and enrolled us both - so I got back 70% of the doctor's fees and X ray costs in cash.

The good thing about cancelling our trip to Rottnest island is that today, although hot and sunny , is very windy - so Peg would not have appreciated the 45 minute fast boat ride!

Interesting sign on the roadside today - Police warning that infringements over Easter weekend will cost double the standard penalties!
