We had a great meal at the Sitella winery on Easter Monday with Greg and Liz even if I was nominated driver and only drank water! Afterwards we went to Bells Rapids in the hills - only problem no water and therefore no rapids. Then went to Walyunga National Park first sign after entering said $10 per car entry fee , next sign a mile later said gates close at 5pm prompt, as it was 4-58 we did a quick u-turn as we did not want to be locked in and also saved $10! ...

Well it's now Easter - We did little on the 18th and 19th as Peg recovered. We decided to take a few days away over Easter and booked an apartment in Fremantle. I went for a bike ride to view the local area and in the evening we all had dinner as the 20th was Cat's 17th birthday . In Aus most places remark that they are open 363 days a year. Not much to report with Peg being ill. We have visited the doctor's twice - very easy and quick - seen at the appointment time and appointment given within half an hour of telephone call. Went Xray unit who saw Peggy within half an hour. The best bit was I then popped down to Medicare offices - the state health system here, and enrolled us both - so I got back 70% of the doctor's fees and X ray costs in cash. The good thing about cancelling our trip to Rottnest...

Unfortunately Monday morning Peggy is still ill with a high temperature. We made appointment at the Doctors and he told her she has pneumonia. He then advised a chest xray so that was also taken this morning. So no trip to Rottnest island- here is hoping she is well enough by the weekend to be able to do one or two things over the Easter weekend. Bryan

Unfortunately on Friday night Peg statrted a temp. We still took James and Cat shopping in the morning, which probably was a mistake for Peg. She went to bed and still is there on Sunday morning. However as a result of the shopping expedition James and Cat are now the owners of mobile phones.
