Lisbon, Portugal. Time is flying by as we found ourselves staying in our first hostel of the trip. July 13th was a full day of being one crazy tourist. Lisbon reminded Randi and I a lot like San Francisco with the trams, hills, and the Golden Gate Bridge's twin sister - 25 de Abril Bridge. If there was one thing I learnt from S.F., it's you don't walk San Francisco! In Lisbon we improved our chances of becoming the worlds best subway (metro) travelers by spending a solid day off and on the metro. Lisbon is another amazing city that is trying to rebuild from a couple of historic earthquakes.

Along the ocean the city embraces the men who sailed the seas and put Lisbon in the map. Monuments and cathedrals shape the interior with a historic castle over looking the city.

It was an exhausting day in Lisbon but took the plane early today (July 14) to Barcelona.
