Last day of the Tour Down Under and last day in Adelaide - heading home tomorrow and back to work on Wednesday. I won't miss the heat of Adelaide, but I don't think that I am ready in any way to go back to work yet. Where did that 7 weeks go?!

This photo is of my view through the crowds onto the main start/finish line on the Adelaide street circuit. Some spectators leave a bit to be desired in terms of etiquette - not much consideration for the view or comfort of others. Glad to leave the 'dulcet tones' of Jim Jacques and his offsider Graham behind - their ceaseless drivel filling in the hours of each stage was just ridiculous and it didn't really inform because we turned our ears off! The racing is pretty spesh, and the cyclists amazing. Standards are pretty high in terms of facilities and organization, and certainly the participation stage went pretty smoothly compared to some of the efforts of the first one we were involved in.

Time for home!
