We got up and out early this morning to get to the beach. Again trip advisor had recommended a beach shack which was right at the end of the beach called blue whale. It was out on its own, no hawkers selling anything, yay! We drove the bike as far as we could then walked down the beach to find it. When we got there we had some breakfast and then spent the rest of the day on some of their sun loungers. It was so peaceful! We went down to the sea for a swim, the tide had been in quite far and now was out again. We had a swim for a little while, we saw loads of fish swimming in the waves and around us. When we got out we walked a little along the edge, we saw hundreds of hermit type crabs making their way back to the sea. They were burying themselves in the sand. We also saw hundreds of star fish imprints in the sand. We walked around for quite a while looking at all of this until we could feel ourselves burning and we went back in the shade. We packed our things up and went back as we said we would be at Anita's for 7.30pm tonight.
We got showered and headed out for Anita's, there were another two couples in there when we arrived. They had already eaten. We got our fish, it was huge!! The tuna was so meaty, we were really hungry but I wasn't sure we were going to finish all of this! After we had eaten, the other two couples had gone by now, Anita came to sit with us and talked for a little while, her daughter joined us too. Another couple then arrived, we got chatting to them, we told them our plans and they gave us some tips about the trains here. I was quite reassured as I'm not sure what to expect! We left and walked back up to the hotel very full!
