We arrived in Granada yesterday afternoon after an easy train ride from Sevilla. The train was only half full so I found a place for a nap and took my siesta there which worked out great. Trent and I made some bocadillos, sandwiches, that cost us practically nothing. I think we are going to try to do it cheap and shop at the supermercado, which is a lot cheaper than eating out. we got into out hostel in granada and it is great... it def caters to young english...

Well, today was our first full day in Europe. We got into Madrid last night after something like 15 hours of straight traveling. It was cool though because on our flight to London they had little tv screens for every person and I actually got to watch a couple of episodes of Arrested Development, which was sweet. It is pretty hot here in Madrid and it doesn't get dark until like 9:30 or 10 at night. Despite what everyone has told me we've had pretty good food...

Trent and I have made it safely... we are in Madrid and it is hot! After years of traveling and four metros we found our way to the hostel. La Posada de Huertas hostel.
