Welcome to our new apartment in Manila. It's probably better then the place we were living in in Maryborough. It's a 3 bedroom / 3 bathroom aparment if you count the maid's dungeon. There's a small balcony off the living area and then another 2 even smaller balconies off the main and second bedrooms. We're on the 11th floor so we can see a bit of the city. The real view is from the roof. You can get up on the helipad and look around for ages. The city just goes on and on. The'res also a small gym, pool and sauna on the top floor. Although we haven't used them yet as they are getting repaired.

The apartment is located in the centre of Makati city and we're only a 5 minute walk from Greenbelt which has got about 100 restaurants located in it. It's also got a whole heap of high end shops as well. It's pretty glamorous inside. It's also connected to Landmark, basically a department store but not as glamarous as say Myer. That's then connected to Glorietta, another mall which has got another 100 or so shops in it. That's then connected to SM Mall, which has got another 100 or so shops in it. It's hard to imagine how many shops are here. For a developing country, they sure do a lot of shopping.
