Well it's been a few months since our last blog entry. Lots has happened since we were both home in January. Firstly, over the Easter break we went to a place called Aniloa, which is about a 2 1/2 hr drive south to do our diving course. 1 day of theory and 2 days of diving and were done. We definately are not learning. Another trip away and another night with no sleep. This time was Mount Pulag, Central Luzon. Mount Pulag is the second highest peak in the Philippines at an altitude of 2922m. It's located North of Baguio and the only way to get there is by bus and then jeepney. So one of the guys Brenden works with, Kar Weng, mentioned to us about 4 months ago about trekking up Mt. Pinatubo, a volcano about 2.5 hours North of Manila. Sounded great at the time, little did we know about the actual details of the trip.
